Hey, I'm going to organize myself to finally stop just talking about my plans and actually start doing them.

Uff... oh well, while writing this I'm getting thoughts like: "You just started drawing less than two years ago, you can't do anything, first you have to practice e v e r y t h i n g or you will fail." There is a voice telling me constantly: "You know nothing, Meanstin." and a crowd of awesome artists who are looking down on me, telling me that blind people aren't allowed to draw or that I'm faking my disability to benefit from it.

But

All of this happens in my head not in reality.

So I have to pull myelf together and make this important step. If I want to realize the projects that I'm dreaming about I have to start doing them! The first thing to do is to collect everything I need to do on a mindmap. Fortunately I've done that yesterday. *yaay*

Now I have to rank them after their importance.

The next step is to make a timetable and set realistic goals, I guess?

Urgh I'm so overstrained by organizing things myself. I sometimes wish that I had someone like a teacher who is expecting me to do my stuff and criticizes it afterwords.

I'm curious:

How do you organize yourself? How do you manage to work towards your goals? How do you know if what you create is good enough and what needs to be changed? Tell me about your approach to become the artist you want to be, if you like to.Maybe that'll help me ^^

That's it for now, uhm...bye.

Hey,

I started making digital art in june 2017, everything I do is self taught and I always want to improve my skills. So if you like to critique or help an ambitious artist, feel free to do so - I'd appreciate it a whole lot ^-^

I am almost blind

I was diagnosed with Stargardt's Disease when I was about 16 years old. At that time I stopped drawing for quite a long time but now I made it back to do the thing that I love the most <3.

Being legally blind doesn't stop me from that anymore and fortunately digital media is giving me all the possibilites I need to do so.

Future Projects

I'd call myself still a beginner but I have several ideas I want to realize in the near future

Learn how to draw, I'm aiming for high realism and then stylization but I will draw a lot stuff for fun in between.

Illustrate how I see things with Stargardt's Disease

Make a comic or a visual novel (or both, I'm full of ideas anyway)

My biggest dream is to make my own Point-and-Click adventure game someday

That's it for now, uhm Bye.
